Energy efficiency

Energy efficiency boils down to simply making use of the available energy more efficiently which leads to cheaper components, products and extended useful life of these products.

For example, a regular 60 W incandescent bulb consumes 12 times the energy a 5 W energy saving bulb consumes to provide light.

Put differently, the 5 W bulb is considered an energy saving bulb which easily translates into cost savings for the user.

Likewise a 32inch LCD TV rated at about 130W would consume more than twice the energy a 32inch LCD TV rated at 50W would consume.

Even cars that have better or more efficient fuel consumption would save the owner more money when compared to another car owner with a less fuel conversion efficiency.

Even in regular inverter backup systems the cost savings that an energy efficiency program brings is huge and it is very easy to appreciate.

However, as we have always preached, doing an energy efficiency program will help to reduce the load, cost of the inverter, battery bank while increasing the backup time. There is simply no downside to energy efficiency.
